Engaging Online Improv for All Students

By: Jim Ansaldo

Wednesday, March 17, 2021

Workshops will be held using the Zoom conferencing platform.

Experience and learn improv theater exercises that align with Indiana and national Academic Standards and Social-Emotional Learning Competencies, as well as Universal Design for Learning and instructional scaffolding. Certificates of attendance can be used to fulfill professional licensing requirements.

Workshops will be led by Dr. Jim Ansaldo and held using the Zoom conferencing platform. These workshops are offered at no cost to educators and teaching artists residing in the US. No prior experience is necessary! While the improv exercises can be adapted for all ages and abilities, the workshops will be most directly applicable to educators and teaching artists working with middle and high school students. Enrollment for each session is limited to 30 participants.

Contact us to schedule a workshop for your district, school, or group!

This VSA program is provided in 2020-2021 under a contract with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
