"Yes, and…” is an introduction to improv basics. The basic rules of improv deal with finding agreement, listening, making choices, and celebrating those choices. These are the same skills that you should have in order to be successful in public speaking – and in life. This interactive workshop will give the participants an entertaining opportunity to grow in a safe environment.

Instructor Bio: Jon Colby has been empowering people with improv for over 20 years. From presenting to performing, his engaging, interactive approach has successfully helped audiences across the US to be better communicators, co-workers, teammates, salespeople, doctors, and even [insert your job title here]. Jon combines his master’s in education and his background in theatre to craft a meaningful and interactive experience where audiences have the opportunity to apply what they learn immediately. As a graduate from the world-famous Second City Conservatory comedy program and an educator with 15 years of classroom experience, he is able to keep an audience laughing while sharing practical knowledge. He has motivated and entertained thousands of clients, including some of the nation’s top companies and organizations, such as Century 21, Charles Schwab, Duke Realty, F.C. Tucker, Indiana Department of Health, University of Indianapolis School of Business, Marshall University School of Theatre, Butler University School of Education, and many others.
