At its most basic level, Longform Improv is simply using an audience suggestion to perform scenes generally longer than five minutes. However, when you dig deeper, Longform Improv allows you to truly listen to your scene partner, build a vivid and inspired world around you, and learn how to show genuine emotions that allow everyone in the scene to grow and evolve their thoughts and actions. This course is geared toward improvisers of all skill levels who have at least some improv experience. We’ll redefine our standard definition of longform improv and truly explore the dynamics of being IN a scene with your scene partners - ALL. IN. This intensive will explore style variations for Longform, explore how to discover unique relationships, and liberate ourselves from the self-imposed burden of being funny. Instead, we will enjoy being real.

Cost: $30

Ages: 17+
