Learn to connect and interact online with all students using improv theater exercises that align with Indiana's Academic Standards and Social-Emotional Learning Competencies, as well as Universal Design for Learning and instructional scaffolding. Certificates of attendance can be used to fulfill professional licensing requirements.
Each workshop series consists of four 90-minute sessions that meet once per week for four weeks. Workshops will be led by Dr. Jim Ansaldo and held using the Zoom conferencing platform. We currently are offering one workshop series that meets on Mondays and another that meets on Fridays:
- Series 1: Mondays, April 27 and May 4, 11, and 18 from 10:30 AM to 12 PM Eastern
- Series 2: Fridays, May 1, 8, 15, and 22 from 3-4:30 PM Eastern
These workshops are offered at no cost to educators and teaching artists residing in the US. No prior experience is necessary! While the improv exercises can be adapted for all ages and abilities, the workshops will be most directly applicable to educators and teaching artists working with middle and high school students. Enrollment for each session is limited to 15 participants.
Registration for these workshops is closed. Join our mailing list to be notified of future workshops.
